THE BEST HOLIDAYS

Since I live in Santiago with my sister, we always travel to my parents' house on holidays. They live in Calama, in the north of Chile. In Calama is most of my paternal family. We always spend Christmas with my grandparents.

My grandmother and I make dinner and sit down until we wait 12 at night and share gifts.

In the New Year I am also there, I spend 12 at night with my family, but they all go, my uncles, cousins and friends of the family to my grandmother's house, we are a big family.

When it's already midnight, we hug and then I go out with my childhood friends who still live there.

I like to go north at parties, it reminds me of when I was little and my grandparents' house is always very cozy for me. She is a very important figure to me, she grew up a large part of my life, so I hope to see her again soon this holiday season.
